I don’t remember the first time I saw you but as long as I can remember you are part of my life from the time I am on this earth. It’s just that I have written something for everyone except you. I never wrote anything for you. I never told you how much I love you :). For me you will always be the most important man in my life after dad. Word may fall short for the gratitude I feel towards you. You have been a great driving force in my life.
So this RakshaBandan when we are sitting seas apart I want to say something to you through this poetry of mine 🙂
I love you from the day my eyes started recognizing people, for giving me that warm smile.
I love you for giving me your small finger for walking, as it made me stand on my feet.
I love you for stop accompanying me to school, because it made me independent person.
I love you for deciding that we won’t go to same school any further, this gave me freedom.
I love you for teaching me how to read, because of that I am a knowledgeable person.
I love you for introducing me to books, now look I am a bibliophile.
I love you for not doing spoon feeding, it made me learn the importance of hard work.
I love you for taking my beatings on you, as it made me value your presence.
I love you for that first gift you gave me from saved pocket money, it made think I am on the top of the world.
I love you for taking me to all those bike rides to my friend’s places, because it made me think highly of you.
I love you for showing me the right direction, as I am on a right path.
I love you for deciding my future, because of that I am happier person.
I love you for instilling the cook’s dexterous skills in me, now I am dexterous chef.
I love you for that first mobile phone, because of which I made many great friends.
I love you for doing mistakes, because through them I learned a lot.
I love you for not being possessive, as it gave me the chance to explore the world.
I love you for taking a stand for what you believed in, Because of which I respect you more.
I love you for taking care of all my needs, because of which I know how to care for others.
I love you for marrying the girl of your choice, because in her I found an elder sister.
I love you for being my wedding planner, as it was the perfect wedding I could have ask for.
I love you for always being there for me, because it makes me believe I am still your baby sister.
I love you for being my writing critic, because you give me the chance of improvement.
I love you for always being interested in my life, because that made me responsible.
I love for being the best brother in the world, I know without you I would not have survived in this world.
I love you for everything you did to me out of your love, I love you for that.
Last but not the least I wish to get you as my brother in all my life times because I love you more then myself.
This time when you tie my rakhi on your hand recall these words of mine and smile as your smile means a lot to me 🙂
HAPPY RAKHSHABANDAHAN 🙂
With LOVE ❤

Yes really.. We can express our love and care to anyone.. But to our so close ones; the strings attached ones, we all will go dumb.. I am the same.. I don’t know how to thank my close to heart people for their love & all.. 🙂
But this one is so so so special…
