3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge-Day 1

I am so glad that Rashmi of Mind and Life Matters nominated me for this challenge. She is one beautiful person with a heart of gold and courage of a tigress.

I took a long break from my busy schedule and went for  Diwali vacations but I was finding it hard to announce my arrival.

“I am Back ” didn’t looked nice 😛 And then my darling Rashmi nominated me for this challenge and here I am with a bang 😀

With so much traveling involved, I was accompanied by a beautiful companion and yet another wonderful book.

The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri.

book

I instantly fell in love with the book. It’s a story about a couple from India who immigrate to the United States and about their struggles and hardships to form a life outside of everything they are accustomed to.

So here is one of my favorite quote from this book.

“Pet names are a persistent remnant of childhood, a reminder that life is not always so serious, so formal, so complicated.”

Because I have a pet name and I love it 😀

And I nominate these wonderful people for the challenge :

1.Nimz

2.Nisthur

3.Vama Gandhi
